What is the 2020 challenge?
From 1st April 2020 BYHP want to try and raise £20,000.00. They’re really keen to involve people who have supported them in the past and build on those relationships, as well as creating new ones with people we haven’t worked with before.
Why they want to raise 20K in 2020.
They offer a free counselling service to many people. In 2019 they delivered 372 counselling sessions to 46 people as well as 182 family mediation sessions to 31 service users and their families. The amount of people needing the service is ever growing, and they now have a waiting list. Funding is the biggest challenge and so to enable them to expand the service, they aim to raise £20,000.00 with your help.
How they’d like you to get involved:
They will give a business £20 in cash. You then have a maximum of 6 months to carry out your own fundraising activities and raise as much money as possible. Your company can sign up anytime from now until 1st September. Money will be distributed for fundraising to begin on 1st April 2020 and the last date to get your total back to them will be 30th September. They have set up many of their own small fundraising activities in the past and many people have also done them on their behalf.
