Celebrating their first year Anniversary landlords, Paul Hawkins-Row, Gale and son Callum are looking forward to being even more inclusive this year. For the first time in over a decade, the pub welcomes well behaved dogs (and their owners!).
Dogs have always been welcome in the gardens and Paul sees this as an important step in appealing further to the wider community and visitors to the area. Paul comments “We have listened to our customers and the local community and recognise this is an important step in our mission to be a traditional, and welcoming pub. It goes without saying that we believe we offer a great atmosphere in addition to the appetising food.”
Being hosts to a number of successful events in 2019 – including Polish Theme week, a nostalgic War-time Armistice weekend and the recent ‘Flexitarian’ (Vegetarian and Vegan) week, we will continue the year with special Valentines and Mothers Day menus plus many other themed weeks and events including VE Day.
Please keep a close eye on our website. It provides regular updates on all the exciting events that are planned for 2020 at this friendly, family run pub.
